Vicky, there are plenty of other independant garages that can carry out a service for you at a lower price than a dealer would charge.

Likewise, as meganeman mentions above, get it to your local independant and see if they can run a diagnostics test on it. This should throw up some fault codes which they may be able to resolve or, if not, post them here and someone may be able to advise further.

A diag. test shouldn't be too much....I would say about 30....depends on where you go though........Renault would charge you about 80
