Grand Scenic - Location of fuses?

I own a 2005 Grand Scenic 1.9dCi Privilege.
In addition to the 12 volt cigarette point, it has 3 extra 12volt sockets - 2 located under the rear middle seat, and another in the sliding console. Prior to wiring a DVD player to one of the rear seat sockets, all worked well. However, due to a loose wire shorting out the circuit, the 3 extra sockets no longer work.
I have checked the fuses located in the glove box, (they are not under the steering wheel as described in the hand book!) and they are all OK.
I have also looked at the upper layer of fuses next to the battery under the bonnet, however due to their inaccessibility I have not physically checked them; the picture reference printed on the lid does not lead me to believe that the fuse is located there.
Can anyone help me locate the fuse?
