Mmm....it would be difficult to do away with the connector then.
I suspect Renault would only provide a new plug with a new wiring loom,or in other words,bl00dy expensive.It might be worth contacting a few Renault specialist breakers and seeing if they have any Clios that they are willing to chop the connector off of,but I suspect most will want to keep the wiring intact to sell on complete.
I would be tempted to contact a local auto electrician and see if they can source some repair pins for the connector,or see if they can come up with any other obvious solutions.It might be possible to solder the wires directly to where they connect to,but without seeing it it's difficult to know for sure.
Any chance of a pic of the connector and where it connects to?.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
