Firstly, what OBD interface did you get?
The ESP codes are Renault specific and can only be read by specialist readers (like CLIP).

Secondly, how does your dealer know it's the ESP controller that's at fault? There are quite a few sensors involved that are more likey candidates.

I suggest going to a good indy. and getting the codes read. Say you don't want a diagnosis just the codes and come back here with them. Should be no more than £10.
