Hi Hondo i have seen this so many times and even on my last car my Merc C180 classic and it always annoyed me but i did in the end learned to live with it but yes thats what it is water getting in between the surfaces like it has been said try the garage you got the car from as they might change it but i would not be putting money on it,was it like that when you bought the car or has it just appeared over the last few weeks if so i would expect them to change it for you?like it has been said already you could try through your daughters insurance to have it replaced at what ever windscreen deal she has with her insurance but at her lose, i hope this helps Donald
Currently in Donald's garage:
2005 Mercedes Benz C200 Classic SE Kompresser & 1998 Fiat Cinquecento Fire Sporting, some may say i could do far better?,i say i could do far worse.
