Mmm.....thats more like it.
The trade plates do not cover you if the car is not MOT'd,only if it's not taxed.We have trade plates at work,but we are only covered for a car without tax with them on,unless my boss has that wrong.......which has been known.
You also need to check your driving license to check your allowed to drive a car that is towing another,this entitlement ended after a certain date,but I'm not sure when.I know mine does cover it,but our apprentices at work aren't covered,but there a few years between us.

but you can tow a trailer on a uk driving licence if and only if you pasted you test before 1996 and if you pasted you test after this you require a test for anything over 750kg? cheers Donald
