but they clearly didn't give me enough grip...If I had enough grip, why wouldn't my car stop? I would be suprised at a tyre not to have flat spots if it had been locked even on a wet road. If it was an anti skid surface surely that means the grip is going to be much higher and therefor better stopping ability.
