Hi Scott82

After phoning Renault Customer Services and them asking questions direct with the dealersip, they agreed that a car this young shouldn't have had UCH problems and coupled with the bad service/troubleshooting from the dealership side of things, they decided to pay the full costs of replacing the UCH which was done later that week. Thankfully I didnt have to pay the costs of this as it was running around 400 mark. (over and on top of the costs for looking at the problem and the unnecessary wiring check that was carried out previously!)

I would advise phoning Renault Customer Service, talking through the problem and if you have had problems with dealerships, make this known as I believe dealerships have monopolised with poor service and inflated prices for too long and something needs to be done about this!

Hope you get a solution sorted! Let us know how it works out for you.
