Replace or dump propshaft?

Have just been to Davemacs propshafts in Coventry where, on inspection, it was found that both the couplings and one bearing were worn out with the other supporting bearing not far off.
They can supply a serviceable replacement shaft for 411.25 inclusive of VAT and postage exchange or you can collect for less, or they will fit if you are near enough.
They also supply the rubber couplings.
If you put in on EBAY - Renault Scenic RX4 Propshaft coupling, 5 YEAR WARRANTY, there are full details.
I found them very helpful and its amazing what one phone call can do.They also replaced my front wheel bearing. The couplings are an obvious problem as they have sold 150 so far this year.
As I bought the car because of its height due to a bad back, I had it the 4wd propshaft taken off and will also gain from the added fuel economy of approx. 10%.
To call direct phone John on 024 76683239, great guys.
