Yes thats the only two lights that come on. The oil and everything is fine. i changed oil , filters( oil and air) and plugs today. (complete service) I mean the vehicle is 11 years old and only has 40,000 on the clock. (must be island life??) the levels are still same. I have no idea how to bleed cooling system, thats why i am asking for your expertese. Please halp??? (i am a newbie to renaults, expert with fords hiss hiss lol) Also the Alternater is fine. Electrician checked it out, just thought i would consult you professionals b4 i called in extra professionals at around £60 per hour just to diagnose! Thanks in advance (Alan)

PS there no MOT over here and we are a UK depandancy, therefore no rules really apply, but being a UK expat and law abiding citizen with young children, i demand reasonably high standards of vehicle maintanence (i hope thats not too much to ask)

I have another car which is 8 years old but would have no probs passig a UK MOT here. Its a Mondeo GLX Zetec (98) and the family love it. Its maintained beyond UK standards but thats just the way i am, care loads about the kids!!! Money is not really an object but safety is therefore i wish to resolve all problems before i put wife in car as she thinks mondeo is too big but she really has heart set on clio. Its sat in the drive with nowhere to go until i fully complete engine overhaul if you know what i mean. Please help me? Alan
