I have searched the forums and there seems to be a lot of people getting simiar issues but no clear concise list of options to try.
We had the AA out, and they said it was a common fault and that if it persisted we would have to get Renault to 'reset' it.
I have spoken to my Renault dealer in Telford who have never heard of such a problem, and therefore want me to book the car in (out of warranty) so this is not going to happen!
When the AA man came, he took of the HT lead from the battery - paused and then told me to press the lock key twice as soon as he had re-connected - we did this and hey-presto the window wound up.
This has now happened again - to my wife out on her own - the AA will get fed up of this so I need to find out what to do - or if there is a way of easily re-setting or just disabling th window.
I have also seen people say that there is a re-call for a window problem - where do renault keep a list of recalls so that i can wave it at my dealler?

thanks in advance

Hello jon, have a look at this thread. Renault Scenic - Electric Window Fault

I ordered the clips, and fixed my window problem, regards Damian.
