Stu, Assuming you get access to the wiring to the lighter socket, the BLUE wire is for the illumination and is fed from a 7.5A fuse in the Engine Multiplex Module. This should suffice for your LEDs and is live when the lights are on. As previously mentioned, use a Scotchlok connector to splice into the blue wire. FYI the YELLOW wire is the feed to the lighter itself and is fed from a 15A fuse in the Passenger Fuse Box. The BLACK wire is earth.
