I am not intending to discredit you in anyway and thank you for your contributions to this highly interesting topic.
Something that no of us Renault drivers may have considered is the fact that maybe the safety catch should withstand 70mph driving and possible head winds.
Is anyone anywhere of the regulations and standards vehicle manufacturers MUST comply with ?
I know I am playing devil's advocate here but I think my main point would be that the matter be properly investigated technically by both Renault and the BBC before the programme was aired..But then I guess their would be no story ? I dunno mixed minds..
