My mate's brand new Ford van suffers from a similar fault and it is down to moisture in the sensors. It's a pain in the proverbial!
It could be a similar problem with yours - we've had an awful lot of rain lately!
The front ones on my Passat do the same in the rain, VW tell me that it is water droplets on the sensors
somehow find it hard to believe but they have tested them twice now and cannot find a fault. Funny thing is that the rear ones were doing the same and they replaced them. After that the rears have been fine, but they won't replace the front ones
