Wink immobilliser fix

I checked the fuse on my car and it would not start, turns out my immobiliser had kicked in, you can confirm this if the red light on the dash stays on when you put you key card in.

To fix this I had to disconect the positive terminal from the battery, making sure it will not come into contact with the battery pole, put my key card in the ignition, then run a wire from the negative side of the battery which is still connected to the car to the positve lead on the car, hey presto I am now up and running again. DO NOT TOUCH THE POSITIVE TERMINAL ON THE BATTERY WITH THE WIRE YOU ARE RUNNING FROM THE NEGATIVE THIS IS DANGEROUS!

Don not know why this would work just know it did.
