Only thing I'd add to that otto for clarification is that my research lead me to believe the seatbelts must work regardless of the position ... and if only the lap section of a 3 point inerta-reel belt is used then it doesent work properly (as the diagonal section is not used ... the bit that actually does the work) ... hence the need to use the separate lap version as supplied with the center 2nd row seat in all versions except the Espace IV which has integral 3 point belts attached to the seat.

Phew.... what a mouthful

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
