Hi Pat, thanks for the pics - appreciated.

I too agree about getting what you pay for - its not going to be the finest (or even very good) materials, lovingly constructed, by caring individuals.

But in all honesty, I need to be realistic.

I'd love a Porsche, and have the budget for a Perodua - but it'll be more fun than a bus pass.

Regarding fuel economy, well - my Sanya (another obscure Chinese model), is getting very close to the 100mpg - I realise it'll drop a bit what with doubling the engine size, but I'll save a bit back by not having to go on back roads everywhere (and at full throttle too).

Plus, after having to find bits for my own bike, there are a number of specialist importers who can source & supply the various items needed.

More than 75 for a rear tyre? Wow - my Vel Satis has 245/45 x 18" XL tyres - and I get them for 100 each.
