I wouldn't worry about it myself BUT it depends on whether you want the car to be reliable with certainty.

Our saff has been in to 2 different mechhies who've both taken off the belt to try and get the cambelt off and failed. They've both put the belt back on and its still running on it.

With regards to the water pump.. I spoke to one mechie a while back who said that on volvo engines he didn't always bother recommending it as they so never go wrong. I was going to get it done anyway to be on the safe side but seeing as I'm now out of cash anyway lol. I'd recommend it to be safe. If you don't and the pump fails then you're going to be upset!

One niggle I have with the saff is the lack of spare alloys floating around...

Then there is the lack of a glovebox!
