LAGUNA 2.2 Dci Rear Parking Sensor fault

I reported a similar problem a few weeks ago. I have a Sports Tourer and have checked the control computer connectors (in rear offside wing) and after a bit of trouble removed the rear bumper and checked all the sensor connectors. All wires and connections seemed Ok but I still have the intermittent fault. Sometimes the systems works ok, sometimes it emits a solid sound when reverse is selected and sometimes it is intermittent beeping when selected but does become continuous when a solid object is detected. I still have no idea whether it is a sensor or the control computer (71.20 +VAT from Renault). I am tempted to disconnect the computer and go back to good old human judgment!
