As for sealing the sunroof this can easily be done yourself.
I did it 5 months ago and I've been bone dry since.
Where the sunroof meets the metal of the roof is where the problem is, after a while it begins to lift, solution is to clean, very well the sorounding area (non wax based cleaner).
Then mask the circumference leaving around 5mm paintwork showing, then, using clear silicone sealant pump it all around where the roof meets the black plastic, pushing hard into the gap with your finger.
I only thought of using the masking tape after I had done mine, made a bit of a mess, but its waterproof.
