Clio - Renault Clio 2 - Connecting Ipod To Head Unit

Have FM transmitter IPOD adapter- it is useless in town- too much interference from external radio waves***8212;So
Idea--- So far.
Use connect 2 aux-in adapter- Better than ICE-LINK Denison- Denison ***8211;even though not an FM transmitter-uses FM modulation and 7 pre-set stations on your radio which is still leaves it open to interference in city centres from local radio-station transmissions.
Circa 40
Buy replacement ***8216;tuner-list***8217; radio (see above)- from e-bay- about 60?
This is because current radio on 03 clio is not an update list or tuner list so not compatible (see above site)
Cannot find any better way cos I am not an electrical tech-head.
Any thoughts appreciated. But seems pricey ***8211; only way to get CD-quality sound out of Ipod I think though.
