You won't find it in Halfords, but any motor factors or independent car accessory shop should be able to source it for you. Or flebay for that matter.

It fits onto a mastic gun, and both surfaces need to be clean & dry.

Its the same substance which is used to secure spoilers & bodykits - so a wing mirror isn't any bother. Just use some masking tape to hold it in place whilst the adhesive sets, and you'll be fine, trust me (done it many times).

Just try to use it sparingly - it can be quite messy - any residue can be removed with thinners on a soft cloth.
