Odd specs

I've been going through eBay lately looking for bits and noticed a lot of really oddly specced Lagunas...

This one has aircon despite being a Phase 1 RT, a combination I didn't know was possible, though perhaps it was an optional extra, so that's understandable.

I also noticed quite a few manual phase 2s with 2.0 8v engines - I thought only the autos used the 8v engines after the facelift?

This one puzzles me as it seems to be a kind of 'phase 1.5' in that it has the centre arm-rest with storage box (phase 1s with the armrest were only very high-spec models and don't have storage underneath), and the 'universal' phase.2 digital clocks which go up to 7k RPM (whereas the earlier diesels had clocks like mine which go up to 5.5k, even on the digital clocks in the higher spec models, and all phase 1 dashes have a red section past the rev limiter, wherease the phase 2 dashes don't.) It also seems to have the central display from the ph.2, but the door cards and steering wheel are definitely phase 1 parts, as are all the exterior trimmings. Presumably this one is a 'parts bin special'!

This one is the most bizarre I've seen, it's supposedly an RXE with full leather yet manual rear windows and no aircon, let alone climate control... I didn't think it was possible to de-specify things that come with the car as standard! Or perhaps this is just an RT which somebody has been bolting bits on. If I had the space, I'd buy it just for the interior

It's nice to see that Renault, as usual, are being really helpful with regard to helping out people who have to work on their cars as there appears to be no rhyme or reason as to what electrical systems a car of a given year and trim will have.

Anyway, I'm still trying to work out what I can reasonably add to my car using cheap bits from eBay /scrappers, and what point I should just give up and save money toward getting a higher spec DTi (which would save me money in the long run anyway, although higher-spec DTis are quite rare, as are estates... And there's gearbox problems to worry about.) Somebody on a pushbike on the pavement collided with my O/S mirror, which took the rear cover off it and the adjustment isn't working properly any more, so I may just replace the pair with electric ones, all the wiring is in the loom for it. I really would like one of those nice centre consoles with the arm-rest and storage box if anybody knows where I can get one cheap, incidentally... Actually, I'd really like the complete interior from an estate as the driver seat in my car is in an awful state and the rear trim is falling off the back, but they're hard to find whereas hatchback interiors are plentiful
