I had my car service a couple of weeks ago at a dealer, 54 plate 40000 miles (3rd service). As usual a big list of repairs:
Rear discs corroded - warranty repair
Rear pads/part only - my pocket
N/S/F Ball joint - warranty repair
N/S/F Track rod end - my pocket
N/S/F and O/S/F Steering arms - my pcoket
and the one in question
Air Conditioning Condensor - warranty repair.
Just dropped car off and the service mamager has now said that the Air-con condensor is not a warranty item and he would have to check with Renault? If not a quote of £500ish!
Are there any Legal Eagles out there who can tell me if the garage can quote in writting that a repair will be carried out under warranty and then say it won't?
Currently in carlbrown15's garage:
2004 Renault Laguna II 1.9 dCi GT, 2010 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.6 TDCi
