I'm sorry I forgot you were running a petrol/LPG setup and I assume there has to have been mods for the LPG system.
In all honesty I have no idea how a chip may affect the alterations that have been made for the ECU to cope with LPG. As the ECU monitors air flow and fuel flow any disrutance of this sytem may bring faults.
On petrol engines it is usually a Lamda sensor fault when it registers the sytem is being over-fueled.
Personally if I had an LPG system that was proving to be cost-effective I would be tempted to leave well alone but having said that it may be worth checking it out with the company who supplied the LPG system.
Overall I thik that any form of chip tuning to improve engine performance carries an element of risk - if it is only poorer mpg. After all any additional power has to come from somewhere.
