Tyre pressure sensors gone loopy!*Fixed*

Started the car today and got voice warning of low pressure on both rear tyres. Drove for about 2 miles and the yellow warning light disappeared off the dash indicating everything was fine. Stopped and restarted a little later and now its saying the left rear is flat and i have the STOP sign displayed on the dash..grrrrrrr. I've got a digital tyre pressure gauge and the pressure is fine on all 4 tyres so what the hell is going on? Thoughts, anybody?
