When my Laguna had a faulty plug
it had those symptoms - chugging and toxic fume light on. Apparently,
failure is a common problem on petrol Renaults and those are the classic symptoms. Luckily it is easy to diagnose and not too expensive to fix.
As for stalling immediately after starting, that may be related to the
or it could be that your crank position sensor needs cleaning or replacing. Again, an easy and cheap fix.
