The Scenic II is "fly by wire" so there is no accelerator cable, and there is no ICV as it has a motorised throttle body ..

I would however start by cleaning the edges of the throttle butterfly and the throttle housing. This is a common problem as the butterfly does not close completely as the gap allows idle inlet air to pass. If the gap around the butterfly gets gummed up then the vehicle will have problems with stalling and/or increased/unstable idle as the motorised throttle trys to keep the engine alive..
