YUP youve goy it,the RAC chap said for me to unclip the connector and clean the socket.
I cover everything with WD-40,he shook his head in despair saying that in effect I could have caused problem.(dont see how but then I have only ever driven Diesels before)
The MAP is on the top left of the engine and is fitted into a hole with a rubber plug.I always thought it ok to smother electrics with WD-40.
Any way I will look at and "dry" the connectors on the MAP and
sensors and see if I can save buying new.Fingers crossed.
