Hi there.

You'll find that there are 2 hidden torx screws in the face of the door card (one in where the lever is - under a cover), the other is in the grip of the door pull (again under a cover).

You will also find at least 2 others (from memory), along the outer edge of the door card, usually out of sight. (which is handy)

The card is then held in place with a combination of mastic and pop studs. You really need a controlled measure of force carefully applied to avoid damage to the plastic of the card and the studs. I start at the bottom, and work along. Once it is loosened, you can then feed the door lever through the hole in the card.

Try to avoid damaging the plastic sheeting on the inside, it is there to prevent rainwater entering the electrics.

Refitting is a straightforward reversal of removal.

Set aside an hour for removal & refitting of the card, and try to park the car facing uphill whilst doing the job so that the door doesn't swing out causing damage.

Best of luck.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
