Thanks. I think it probably is the actual button, its really worn out and has no "cushion" left in it, if that makes sense. I was thinking of just getting a second hand key from a scrapper and asking an auto lock guy to just put my circuit board and metal key into the good plastic fob. Would this not work?
It sounds like it would. You wouldn't need to code it as it will be the original circuit. Might be worth a try tbh if you can get a fob cheap enough from them. Can't see why you couldn't do it yourself either. Might be worth rining an auto-lock specialist and ask them if it would work.
