I managed to fix the valve in the pump.
It was quite easy really. I just jacked the front driverside after I undone the small torx screw holding the splash guard to the front bumper then I just poped out the splah guard undone the one 10mm nut and then the othe 10mm holding the filler neck in. Remove the filler neck and then the bottle paying attention to the hose's attached to it. (dont snap them).
When pump is off bottle just push a screwdriver behind the white hose connector ( you will see ). Retrieve and clean the actual cylindrical valve by just tapping it out on a surface. Put it all back together, as haynes would say "fitting is reverse of removal, and hey presto fully working washers.
This will only work if the pump is in working order, ie, if you can hear it working as mine was working when activated only to deliver water to the rear.
