Hi mate i replaced the exact same bearing on my lag 1.9 dci about 30 months ago, was showing exact same problems has yours, i found the bearing that was fitted was some french made bearing but changed for the best jap bearing i could find and cost me 12, i put new clutch in at same time and all has been well ever since, ive done over 30k now with this rebuilt box and no problems, i keep a eye out for oil leaks ect but all is well. Just 2 weeks after doing the gearbox i had to do the electric window winder repair too which is very common and the rear bushes and ltest problem is the blowing one of the fuses and found that to be down to the neutral selector switch on the gearbox so ive had fun with my lag which ive had for almost 4 years now, lucky i could fix all the problems or i would have had to pay renault somewhere round 5k in repairs so far.
