A clean should sort the problem, or better yet get them to replace the pads altogether.
Sometimes the material of the brake pad hardens and causes a squeel, or it could just be caked in brake dust, that's when a clean will sort the problem.
Pain in the butt when you have squeaky brakes. Either way get the dealer to sort the probs while it's still under warranty rather than pay for it out of your own pockect.
Doubt it's a known problem with your Renault, all cars brakes will squeel at somepoint in their lives.
I remember I fitted a brand new set of pads to my ford, they squeeled from new due to a poor material used in the mads makeup. Swapped them out for some better ones and is was silent.
let us know how you get on.
