If we all started driving 1.5 litre cars the cheap tax limit would be lowered to 1.3 and so on and so forth.
Not only that but government regs seem designed to make things difficult for everything.
Not the same thing but analogous
is emissions from big engines. One of the products my Dad's company does is emission monitoring . The regs are different for each type of engine. so big diesels which are relatively clean compared to coal plant for example, have to meet much tighter restrictions than the coal plant does. The net result is to make it harder for cleaner technologies to be used.
Crazy government I guess.
