turns out it IS the caliper carrier bolt. spoke to a renault technician mate of mine and he, along with you guys have strongly recommended i speak / write to kwik fit hq, so i have.

these clowns have recently fitted to the scenic, full exhaust system, rear shocks and the dreaded front discs and pads.

also, they fitted a full exhaust system to my sons fiesta (which was dearer than the scenic!!! ). when he went for his mot renewal the next day, it failed've guessed it......the exhaust! as it was leaking emissions and was moving around cos they only put 1 bolt in the fitting that joins it to the manifold, and that was loose!!

they appear to be cheap and friendly, but that is exactly what they are, crap! with no real proffesionalism at all.

rant over for now.
