my view is all bikes should pay the same as cars
they use the same roads
bikers park in the carpark and take up the same parking bays as cars
i find it a pain when i pull into tesco's i see a empty parking bay i swing in to find some numpty has stuck his bike in there
as i said just my view
I see you point tiffany, that anooys me too as there are normally designated bike parking areas.
However, VED is based on emmisions, this argument is about the fact a bike produces less emmisions than a car in a lower VED bracket. they should be in the same one. I.E., any car producing under 100mg CO2 or whatever it is is tax free iirc or £35. Whereas a bike isn't, they pay even more. Why?
