I see you point tiffany, that anooys me too as there are normally designated bike parking areas.

However, VED is based on emmisions, this argument is about the fact a bike produces less emmisions than a car in a lower VED bracket. they should be in the same one. I.E., any car producing under 100mg CO2 or whatever it is is tax free iirc or 35. Whereas a bike isn't, they pay even more. Why?
