I have to stick up for Renault's!! , ok mine is a lag 1 & not 2 and your list of faults is to say the least appealing but mine apart from the normal list of consumables has been the best car Ive ever had, its now done 121000 and a auto to boot!!. I think (and probably obviously) the biggest factor in a cars reliability and durability is the way its driven. Getting small faults fixed asp after they show up is the best way to avoid problems future down the line. For me I would buy another Renault tomorrow if need be.
