scenic speakers

sorry i see you used an iso connector, so that should mean wiring polarity is correct, but, i suspect the old speakers are on the way out, there could be perished cones in the speaker, mine were, sound got worse as you turned up the volume, the new head unit being alpine, which is very good, may just be to good for the old speakers. its a simple job to check them ,prise off the covers from the door panel, and check to see if they have parted around the outer circumfrence, normaly there would be what looks like tears in the paper cone if they are had it, or it could be the voice coil in the speakers ,the originals were cheap junk realy
