As some may know I work in a refinery. We blend both petrol & diesel - neither are a finished product right off, but contain many different components.
We blend ULMS, SUMS & ULSD. There are subtle differences between summer & winter grades.
But ...... regardless of where you buy your fuel it's the same stuff. The only real difference are the additives. Unless you're buying a racing type fuel i.e BP102 or the likes.
Our place supplies the whole of Scotland, North England and Northern Ireland, so whether you buy Shell or Tesco's fuel, it's basically the same.
If anyones interested I'll try to get a normal blend recipie.
I think I have CDO. It's like OCD, but with ALL THE LETTERS IN THE RIGHT ORDER
