Hi all,

I am just trying to find some advice In the last few days my heater has stopped working on number 3 and 4 from doing some searching on here I am sure it is the heater resistor. However I am unsure were to find it some pictures I have seen would suggest it is scuttle panel on others appears to be under the glove box.

Is anyone sure for the 2008 MK3 were I can heater resistor and if under the dash just how much do I need to remove to get it.

Kind regards

Ben

Sorry I am new to this.I thought I had put it under the Renault clio section , It is a Renault clio 2007 MK3 1.5DCI. I have tried searching for this all morning but nothing I can see that explains how to take it the resistor out. From not knowing what could be the problem I have searched the Forum and now I am sure it is the heater resistor but unsure how to get to it and were to start.

regards
Ben

No probs. Does anything in this thread help? http://www.renaultforums.co.uk/17-e...ult-clio-iii-fan-speed-pos-4-not-working.html
Is number 4 the maximum speed for the fan, since it is unusual for this to be fed through the resistor (which controls the lower speeds only).
Seems you might be able to access the resistor through the glove compartment (only what I've read, not done myself, so could be wrong).

EDIT: Just done some reading and Mk1 and Mk2 Clios have the resistor pack under the scuttle at the base of the windscreen. Info on the Clio III seems scarcer but both locations should not be too difficult to check.

Hi

I needed to do the same work on a Clio Mk3 expression this weekend. The resistor pack is located within the body of the blower, and is easily access by removing the glove box (5 torx screws, 3 beneath the top strim and one beneath the side trim). The resistor pack is easily identified by an electrical connector taking 4 coloured wires and a separate red + black wire. There are 2 torx screws locating it in the blower housing.

In my case the resitor was fine but the electrical connector contacts were corroded so needed cleaning.
