What is it specifically that is worrying you ?
Dropping coolant is simple on any car, remove filler cap, find bottom hose, remove and let the coolant drain.
When engine cold, not when hot and system is pressurised.
There may be a drain screw at bottom of radiator but these seem few and far between nowadays.
If flushing, ideally (and most messy) against normal flow so normally bottom to top.
When refilling, identify any bleed screws and open, usually on high points like heater hoses or thermostat but varies from car to car.
Heater controls set to max heat.
Fill, with pre-mixed coolant, until each bleed screw starts dribbling, then close that screw.
Run engine with expansion/filler cap off until fully hot and thermostat opens.
May need to open bleed screws to remove last air.
And may need to massage hoses to get air moving.
Top up as needed.
Check heater is blowing hot.
Check that filling point is highest point on the system.
Some cars it is low and will overflow before system is full. A soft drinks bottle with the end cut off makes a good extension to raise the filling point. Seal to filler with a bit of duct tape.
Wash off any spilt coolant as it can be corrosive to paint.
Never known any special tools needed.
Screwdrivers, small sockets for screw type hose clips, pliers if wire spring type.
