2005 Laguna central locking...problem?
My Laguna has the auto lock function engaged which I like because I have a young son, however it doesn't unlock when I park up and open the drivers door from the inside. Every car I have had in the past with this function has unlocked all the doors when the drivers door is opened. (Including my Clio, hence I am so sure I have seen this happen!!)
I am a bit concerned about this car NOT unlocking all doors automatically because I quite often try to open the door to get my son out and the door is locked meaning I have to unlock it with the blipper. I'm worried that in an emergency/accident, I may get out of the car without the key and get to his door only to find I can't open or unlock the door
I was under the impression the auto unlocking was a safety feature to stop this problem but the manual isn't very clear about whether it should happen or not. Can anyone confirm if the doors should auto unlock so that I can approach the dealer I bought the car from with confidence about what it shoould and shouldn't do?
I hope this makes sense...I should be in bed!
Many thanks in advance...again!
