The difficulty is knowing if the current anti-freeze is up to scratch. It may not be decent stuff if someone has changed it. The only certain way is to have it changed - that way you'll know. If you are tempted to use the "Red" stuff you'll need to flush the system as it doesn't mix well with the lower grade type - not that all lower grades are unsuitable.
The Haynes manual states: "Ethylene
-based anti-freeze - RX Glaceol type D"
