Thanks for the replies.
You are corrrect in that you need to remove all the torx screws, probably 16 altogether along with a number of plastic rivets (reusable) some of which are cunningly hidden behind the wheel arch.
You also need to remove plastic access covers to the rear fog lights and the units themselves.
No need to jack up the car or remove wheels.
Once this is done the bumper (plastic trim) unclips and slides off in one piece.
nice one trefors. Out of curiosity, did it take long to do?
