I'm now thinking it may not be the battery....

I disconnected the battery from the car & have had it on charge since 12 noon....have just reconnected it now (9pm) checked the voltage with a multi meter... it was 12.80 volts so it appears to be in a good state of charge.

As soon as I put the ignition on the gauges & the lights stated pulsing again....started the engine but this time the pulsing didn't stop, even after a couple of minutes with the engine running.
Switched off, removed the key card & tried again...same again, gauges pulsing & flashing lights, once again this didn't stop even after a couple of minutes of the engine running.

Now every time I put the ignition on the gauges & light do this

Will try the battery off the other car tomorrow just to see if it makes any difference.

I get all the good faults me....
