That sounds like the 'human element' coming in to play.

There always has to be a weak link in the chain,and in this case it's the person carrying out the MOT.We all have good and bad days,so unless there is a robot that can determine what is a pass and what is failure then we are all at the mercy of the idiot with the hammer......sorry.....I mean the idiot with the corrosion assessment tool.

VOSA have now done away with the assistant if you fit an OPTL,the tester is next.

Have you ever tried argueing with a robot?.(or VOSA?)

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
