Surely if a tester sees a tyre that is on 2mm they should advise the presenter rather than just pass it?.

Advises aren't things that are dangerous,they are just things we see and that ought to be brought to the customers attention.A small oil leak,a tyre close the limit,a suspension bush that is beginning to perish etc,etc.

Surely that makes sense?.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
