Sorry if I came across a sounding "b1tching" Lagdti - it was not my intention to do so. All I do know is that the MOT system is applied in a different way over here in Northern Ireland where a standardised fully computerised testing sytem is in use throughout every test centre. For example the brake and suspension systems are checked on a machine and the results are fed into the computer and if it does not meet the pre-set limits the computer won't even allow the tester to print a certificate.
I have no intention of questioning the integegrity of MOT examiners whatsoever and I was only commenting on what I have read on some vehicle forums - not this one obviously.
I apologise if you have taken any offense
