I've just heard back from the garage on the MOT on my car ! It was in today.

1 x track rod end fluffed and needs replacing.
2 x front tyres need changing. One has slow puncture in it (did notice the pressures were down when I last checked them) and the other is out of shape (due to the track rod end being FUBARed). TBH I did check the tyres last weekend and noticed they were near the low tread markers anyway.

The tyres on the fronts were Avon ZV3's, which the tyre dealer that the garage use dont reccomend as they dont wear very well. Which they havent, only got about 12-15000 miles out of them. But I have been driving around with a knackered ball joint earlier this year and now a duff track rod end for the last 2 months !

So they've suggested Dunlops this time (as they wear better apparently) at 95+VAT all in. Ive checked tyreshopper etc and the price seems to be on the money it seems.

So, its been an expensive day. In total my MOT and service is costing me nearly 500 probably.

Cars eh
